Cypress Creek Ventures

Moonkite support

Moonkite is Cypress Creek Ventures’ podcast app for children. A grown-up sets up the family. A child listens inside the boundaries that grown-up sets.

If you need help, write to hello@cypresscreekventures.com. Say what you were trying to do. You do not need to send a child’s legal name. If Grown-ups → Account & privacy shows a family account id, you can include that.

Child profiles

A grown-up creates each child’s profile: a nickname, a symbol chosen from a list, an age, interests chosen from a list, and whether videos are allowed. The app does not ask for an email address, a birthday, or a photo.

Listening to podcasts

A child can play shows and episodes inside the boundaries a grown-up sets. Episode audio plays from the podcast publisher’s address.

Parental controls

The Grown-ups area stays behind a 4-digit code that remains on the device. A grown-up sets the child’s profile and which shows and episodes that child can play.

Subscriptions

Moonkite includes an optional family membership through the App Store. Apple handles the payment. A production membership is not described here as fully checked and active. A question about a charge can come to the same email.

What Moonkite keeps, and how a grown-up can delete it on the device, is on the Moonkite privacy policy.
